Dar Pomorza is a three-masted training sailing ship, known as the White Frigate. A legend of Polish maritime education. Dar Pomorza was purchased by the Pomeranian society in 1929 for the Maritime School in Gdynia. Under the Polish flag, ”Dar Pomorza” made 102 school cruises, sailed half a million nautical miles – a distance equal to about 25 voyages around the world. It became famous as the first ship in the history of the Polish merchant flag to sail around the world, trained 13,384 students.
