Silvery sundial with compass – model NC1028. Made of brass in a silver color. The compass needle is black with a red tip. The presented sundial is called Dollond’s sundial. Thanks to the compass, it is possible to position the device in the north-south line. Thanks to this, when the gnomon is raised to the vertical – a triangular, movable indicator on the top, the rays of the sun will cast a shadow on the outer dial of the device, where the hours are marked. You can then read the current time.
